Ambassador Valiant Thor
The "stranger at the Pentagon" from the late 1950s is alive and well, and working tirelessly on behalf of Terra and Terrans.
I realize that my Substack posts thus far have appeared in what must to the reader appear to be “no particular order,” but they are written in a very logical order—although the basis for their sequence must certainly be inscrutable to readers.
I will reveal the basis of said order: As I perform a random walk through the world of information, new stories and new details emerge into my awareness. Some of those impress me more strongly than others, and the one that has impressed me most strongly in recent hours or days, about which I haven’t yet written or haven’t recently written, is selected as a subject for exposition. And thus, “Here we are.”
Last night, the YouTube algorithm served up an older video by Elena Danaan, uploaded December 4, 2020, entitled My first encounter with Valiant Thor.
When Elena opened her laptop to record a video, she was obviously still processing an emotional upheaval. Knowing a bit about her history of interactions with Valiant Thor, at first, I didn’t understand why she seemed so … “disturbed” might be a good word—evidently, recovering her stability in the aftermath of a destabilizing experience.
If you don’t know who Valiant Thor was and is, I will summarize. (You could also perform an internet search on his name.)
Many or most people would probably say that Valiant Thor—I will contract his first name and call him Val Thor—is a character from the imaginal realm. The summary from the description of an episode on The Why Files on YouTube will serve well as an introduction:
On March 16, 1957, at 8 o'clock in the morning, a 300 ft long spacecraft landed in a field in Alexandria Virginia. Two local police officers arrived on the scene. The door of the craft slowly opened. The officers drew their guns, not sure what to expect. To their surprise, out walked a normal-looking guy. He smiled at the stunned officers and … waved hello. Before the policemen could say a word, the stranger said, in clear English: "I need to see the president."
Val Thor was from Venus, and he came to Earth and asked to see President Eisenhower because he was an ambassador who wanted to offer the US government, and indeed humanity as a whole, a deal—one that, if it had been accepted, would have changed the world and would have propelled us rapidly into a “Star Trek future” even before the outlines of the fictional / “soft disclosure” Star Trek universe had been formulated.
Although Val Thor’s mission ultimately failed, he was housed at the Pentagon, as the story goes, for three years. He displayed various remarkable powers, including the ability to walk through walls….

Because [Val] Thor was a real person, who appeared in a public on a few occasions (including at the United Nations headquarters in New York City), the legend of the Stranger at the Pentagon has grown, becoming a real head-scratcher for 21st-century UFO researchers.
Today, the story of Valiant Thor is still one of the hottest topics in ufology, having spawned various books, documentaries, and Hollywood productions. Recent revelations that he was in cahoots with Gray Barker (having first appeared at Barker UFO convention in 1958) have only added to the mystery – and [amplified] the possibility that Thor is telling the truth about not only his many contacts with UFO witnesses, but also with influential Saucerian readers and creatives, such as David Bowie, John Lennon, and Robert Fripp, and many others.
“[Val] Thor was a real person.” Might he still be alive, and if so, where is he and what is he doing?
Campobasso’s movie (mentioned above) is an enactment of the narrative delivered via Stranges’ book. When Campobasso had completed the script, he gave a copy to Stranges for review. Stranges, in turn, showed it to Val Thor, who merely held the script for a moment and handed it back. Campobasso knew that Stranges had planned to show it to Val Thor, and was disappointed that the Ambassador evidently hadn’t read it, nor had he offered any suggestions for corrections or improvements. However, Campobasso avers that he awoke the next morning with complete knowledge of all the changes that needed to be made to the script to bring it into full fidelity with objective truth as seen and experienced by Val Thor.
In Elena’s video, she says that she was invited aboard the Galactic Federation’s space station by Commander Thor Han Eredyon, her usual Federation contact, so that Thor Han could introduce her to Val Thor and his brother Don Emerys. Elena had expressed interest in meeting Val Thor, but Thor Han’s arranging of the meeting at that time was a surprise. It was the surprise nature of the meeting that set Elena off balance, and her initial meeting with Thor Han entailed an emotional exchange that left her (after a period of recovery) in the state she exhibited in her video.
Elena subsequently met with Val Thor several more times and then distilled her interviews with him into a book entitled We Will Never Let You Down https://www.elenadanaan.org/wewillneverletyoudown. Dr. Michael Salla has summarized the book as follows:

My conviction is that Val Thor is real and alive, and his family’s home is on Venus. “Venusians, according to Valiant Thor, survive the planet's inhospitable climate by living underground.” (from https://www.ranker.com/list/strange-story-valiant-thor/jim-rowley) He continues working for the benefit of our people and planet. He is a true friend as well as a close cousin of Galactic, extraterrestrial origin.
If you aren’t familiar with Elena Danaan, or you have only watched videos, clips or snippets in which she speaks more formally and confidently, the linked video provides a good opportunity to witness her showing her more vulnerable side. While watching it, a couple of times I tried to imagine that “She is just a very good actress, and is acting,” but I cannot see the video in that way. I have carefully assessed Elena, resulting in the development within me of deep trust and respect, as well as love and appreciation, for her, and I take her video at face value.
